First Two Questions for Vice Presidential Candidate Biden
(1) You said in the primary campaign that you "don't believe" Barack Obama is "ready" to be president. What has changed your mind?
(2) How do you reconcile your plan for partioning Iraq, which your office said you still support as recently as one week ago, with Barack Obama's withdrawal plan?
Comments
Some already asked him question number 1 and he said he stands by his original comment.
Hell - I'm not ready to be president. But I would be better than McCain!
Iraq will partition itself in a civil war once we get out. If they do it for free, why should we pay for it?

Jonny, you are doing McCain's work for him.

TT, are you afraid the answers to these questions (which WILL be asked!) won't stand up to scrutiny??
Do you suppose that voters aren't entitled to know the answers to these questions?
Would you rather wait and let McCain score points with these questions?
You can't just pretend such issues don't exist, and expect that they'll go away.
As for myself, I'd rather hear how it is that Biden wound up being stupid enough to give Bush a bottle of whiskey and the car keys (Iraq War authority) and how he squares a vote for the USA PATRIOT Act with his oath to 'preserve, protect and defend the Constitution..'.
But those are questions that McCain won't ask (the votes are identical to his own) and 'Smart, Fearless' Mother Jones will not have the guts to ask.

DemoPublican, McCain just needs to have in his ads Biden knocking Obama at the debates and elsewhere. I am afraid that this decision shows that Obama makes bad decisions and Ms.Clinton will be the 2012 nominee.

Biden is a bit of a loose cannon that should make this election season a little more interesting. He's notorious for being a narcissistic windbag, making testy, off-the-cuff comments such as, "You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent," or, when he said in response to a question about what type of grades he received in law school, "I think I have a much higher IQ than you do."
Obama, who has constantly been under the microscope for elitist-sounding comments, has picked for his V.P. a man that also can be criticized for the same.

The first question is reasonable. The second one is complete BS.

Folks, the simple answer to question number 1 is Biden was competing against Barack for the primary vote. If you are a politcal animal you are going to use any idea you can to show differences between candidates. It doesn't necessarily follow Biden actually and truly believed the satement. If he did believe the statement answer the following question for me. How can any Presidential candidate who is not running for a second term, be ready?
These kind of questions are more of the same Republican BS to throw your attention off anything relevant. Who really cares what Biden said in a primary debate. What I care about is Biden rolling up his sleeves with Barack and solving problems.

Given that the phrase "Voodoo Economics" is still with us, I'd have to say that what an eventual VP candidate says about the guy who ends up with the top slot on the ticket, can, and may well be remembered.
These kind of questions are more of the same Republican BS to throw your attention off anything relevant.
So Jonathan Stein is working for the RNC?
Who'd a' thunk it?!?!
