Obama Is a Terrorist and I'll Vote For Him
I discussed ways McCain might get back in the race below, but if this report is to be believed, it's a lost cause. These were the reactions a Republican consultant got from blue collar types in the upper Midwest after showing them the nastiest possible anti-Obama ads:
54 year-old white male, voted Kerry '04, Bush '00, Dole '96, hunter, NASCAR fan...hard for Obama said: "I'm gonna hate him the minute I vote for him. He's gonna be a bad president. But I won't ever vote for another god-damn Republican. I want the government to take over all of Wall Street and bankers and the car companies and Wal-Mart run this county like we used to when Reagan was President."
The next was a woman, late 50s, Democrat but strongly pro-life. Loved B. and H. Clinton, loved Bush in 2000. "Well, I don't know much about this terrorist group Barack used to be in with that Weather guy but I'm sick of paying for health insurance at work and that's why I'm supporting Barack."
The consultant, who gave this account to Ben Smith over at Politico, called it "the two most unreal moments of my professional life of watching focus groups."
Comments
The Reverend Jesse Jackson said of Obama that the most important change would occur in the Middle East, where "decades of putting Israel's interests first" would end.
Jackson believes that, although "Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades" remain strong, they'll lose a great deal of their clout when Barack Obama enters the White House.
Jackson is especially critical of President Bush's approach to the Israel-Palestine conflict.
"Bush was so afraid of a snafu and of upsetting Israel that he gave the whole thing a miss," Jackson says. "Barack will change that," because, as long as the Palestinians haven't seen justice, the Middle East will "remain a source of danger to us all."
"Barack is determined to repair our relations with the world of Islam and Muslims," Jackson says.
Rebekha, The Reverend Jesse Jackson also said he'd like to cut B.H.O.'s nuts off.
So who cares what he said about foreign policy? And why do you people take every opportunity to turn a conversation to Israel? And when there Is No opportunity to be had in a particular discussion, start talking about Israel anyway..??
"Give me Liberty..." Israel is important to some people. We are not voting for Obama because he is an anti-Semite along with Jesse HiJackson and Pastor Wright. A great number of us Jews(Senator Lieberman included) are putting our money on Sarah Palin who really understands Israel much better than Obama.

"Obama will be bad for Israel"
"Obama will be good for Israel"
Authoritative predictions about Obama's effect on Israel aside...
ALL predictions aside:
1. None Of Us know with certainty what effect Obama's election would have on Israel until it happens, no matter how tempting it is to pretend we do.
2. We aren't electing a President of Israeli-America, or an American Ambassador to Israel, so the American voter'd better be considering what effect an Obama presidency is likely to have on America, and leave it at that.
'S how I see it.
