MOJO VIDEO: Obama Supporters On Their Hopes for a New Administration
Barack Obama concluded his campaign for the presidency on Monday, November 3, with a rally in Manassas, Virginia. The event's location was one final sign that Obama has made good on his promise to expand the electoral map for Democrats — Virginia has not voted for a Democrat in 44 years and yet Obama holds a five point lead going into Election Day. The supporters Mother Jones found appeared touched by the unique appeal that may allow Obama to win red states like Virginia tonight. They were convinced Obama would heal the nation's wounds, end the nation's wars, and fix the nation's economic troubles. When asked for a way a President Obama might disappoint them, few could think of anything to say.

Obama the Messiah is bad
news for the country.
We can see your conclusion Thomas -- but what you can never show us is your reasoning. That's because it is non-existent.
If you can think of anyone since Hitler, buddy, who has wreaked more destruction in the world than Bush, I want to know who it might be -- but it sure is not, and will not be, Obama.
If you can think of anyone since Joe McCarthy who has done more to trash the Constitution than Bush, I want to know the name.
The disaster, the bad news, was, has been, is, and will remain Bush and his fascist pals.

The Republican Party has become a White only party. No one else apply. Thank goodness we have a new president elect that knows we are all created equal.

Good to hear the anti-war message again but it still remains to the people to see it gets implemented. The election sure points that way as the majority feeling in the country.
