Herbert Simon, a recent dropout of the Forbes 400 ($335 million net worth), and his brother Mel run Simon Property Group, which owns shopping malls throughout the Midwest. Simon Property is responsible for Minnesota's mammoth Mall of America. Diane Meyer Simon, his wife, serves on Clinton's Kennedy Center advisory committee.
