I love all this coverage. But no one is seeming to spend enough time on one major factor that underlies so much of the conflict... OIL. Not the conquest of it or how nations have been destroyed by having it, but by it's scarcity, it's uniqueness to our modern life, the density of energy held in its bonds and the effects this massive subsidy of energy has had on our societies and the effects of its scarcity is going to have on our societies!? It is becoming clear that the oil supply is not going to be able to meet the growing demand, what effect is this going to have on all of these issues of social justice, equality, war, corptocracy, etc- it is going to effect everything... let's start talking about it more

Are there politians that actually care what is happening to the american people? They are locking up the mothers, and children for 25 to life. Sending dads away for life on 3 strikes.Taking over other countries leaving their children fatherless.Does anyone know how we fight this as a whole? Not one state not one curupt system within a state. But how do we get the attention and help we so need before its to late?Tell me I will help!My teenage daughter has been locked up for four years, she is 20 now without a trial.Facing life for a murder someone else involved her in~and the police and DA are allowed to take and to keep her ,without anyone to answer to,for the lies and curupt ways in which they are putting young mothers and our juveniles of california that can not afford counsil away for 25 to life, without any one protecting their rights.Where A Da has more power then our judges~Where the attorney general is just a DA in a bigger office. Our Govenor's training has been with barbells! An d they answer to none for the destruction of our state and its people? And A president that answers to no one for the destruction of the whole us & foreign countries?where do we go for help?(God Bless us each and everyone)we are in trouble

The only way out from the many present impasses of America is a grass-roots people's movement (not a political party) under the leadership of a genuine and honest leader like CINDY SHEEHAN. She is the only one with the vision of peace, justice, demilitarization, cooperation and solidarity among the nations. That is what we need if we are to survive and prosper.

A question to Jonathan Stein regard a quote Sen Norm Colmen made "these conservative kids don't [deleted] or get high like we do". I live in MN, and it might be fun to to show with the quote, but where and what year was that quote from? Thank you, Christine Painter
