Obama's Plot Twist

This 3-story, 96-yr-old Georgian is close to the hustle and bustle of Chicago's South Side. But with 4 fireplaces and a 1,000-bottle wine cellar, you may never want to leave. Sold for $1.65 million in 2005. Upgrade your property when your next-door buddy (before his felony trial, of course) sells you part of his plot!

Um, and Dr. Paul's house please...?

Posted by: JohnL on 12/25/07 at 9:23 AM  Respond

Uh, yeah. Where is Dr. Paul's house? That is the only reason I even read this.

Posted by: JohnR on 12/25/07 at 9:32 AM  Respond

Since you are too much of an ass to show the house that really counts I will do it for you. Here is Dr. Ron Paul's modest home in Lake Jackson Tx.

Why was Ron Paul omitted from this? Nobody cares about all these other candidates - we all know they are filthy rich top 1%'ers anyway.

Actually some of those houses are modest if you think about it. 1 million for a house now-a-days is pretty reasonable.

Uh, I too would sorta like to see Ron Paul's house.

I bet it makes these other guys look like pricks, especially since he earned his house by practicing medicine for 25 years, while they earned theirs raping the people.

How can this place be Georgian if it's only 96 y.o.? Edwardian perhaps. Picky yes but accuracy is important, isn't it?
Mr.R.Paul does live in a house, doesn't he?

Why don't you find Ron Paul's house yourself and post a link rather than bugging people about it?

Posted by: MaLoLo on 01/02/08 at 10:13 AM  Respond

I've read Kucinich has lived in the same "small" home for the past several years? You couldn't find it? Too bad, it's one more of us can relate with, but then so is he. Then again, most of us are ignored, too. Guess we have a lot more in common than meets the eyes. Interesting to read the R Paul comments, now that Faux news has given him the shaft, too.

Posted by: bonnie on 01/03/08 at 7:28 AM  Respond

Honestly, all you Paultards need to get over yourself. Not everything is a conspiracy against Ron Paul. These are just pictures of houses! How would this make anybody "afraid of Ron Paul." Grow up. I've never seen such a group of immature followers in my life.

Wow....you are as biased as FOX. Where's is Dr. Paul's house? I bet it is more modest than the rest. Guess I'll spread your link as another biased site not to be bothered with. Unreal...is Rupert Murdoch your uncle?

I grew up in a mostly middle class town in Southern California with large minority sections. I was recently browsing the real estate ads. 800 sq. foot, seventy year old one bedroom one bath shacks were selling for $450,000 and there were bidding wars. So how did these politicians buy spacious mansions in elite neighborhoods so cheap?

Thanks posters for giving me the low down on Dr. No's pad.. nose pad? Anyway we are used to the main stream media overlooking the best people and should expect this kind of -part of a story from other sources. I am sorry to see it here. As for sourfaker why should anyone give you paper money when your comments aren't even worth 2 bits?

Who is Ron Paul?

Posted by: curious on 01/16/08 at 10:46 PM  Respond

Because Huckabee lives in AK. Half a mil is rich for down there. If that house were anywhere else it would be a mil easily.

The media takes this step in the right direction- but fails as usual to bring the real point out.
These candiates have no idea what it is to be an average American. How can they they having lived these pampered lives?
Of course -as usual- No Kucinich House- not even Pauls

Does the media actually expect US to got 'Wow they're rich- they must be the right Candidates!'
I'm throuhgly disgusted by the continued Cattle herding Mentality we are subjected to by theMedia and 'powers that be'.
These little 'MIND GAMES' are placing undue influence on our democratic process.
Just hand the crown over who ever it is you all have ordained.Stop blowing smoke up our asses!

Posted by: Kim. Bogue on 01/17/08 at 5:04 AM  Respond

Isn't Paul and Kucinich just part of the problem, thrown into the mix to attract extremists and distract them from making real revolutionary changes? Exclude their houses, get their supporters riled up, keep them occupied with trying to make insignificant little shifts to the system when really the shortsighted peons should be setting their sights higher.

Posted by: tvtom on 01/17/08 at 9:39 AM  Respond

do you all really think these houses don't stand for "the people?" do you think YOU are "the people?" "The people" live in the suburbs, aspire to these houses, and respect those who've managed to get them. "The people" don't want some putz with a piddly little rancher in the burbs, you do.

Posted by: jackal on 01/17/08 at 9:42 AM  Respond

Does anyone care that Obama is involved with criminal Antoin "Tony" Rezko? He is running for president you know. President Obama could effect lives. All I have been hearing from his supporters is that he is Mr. Clean. You have to be kidding me.

Posted by: Sooz on 01/17/08 at 11:31 AM  Respond

So if Ron Paul lives in a modest house, that somehow makes him a worthy candidate for president? What nonsense. FDR was rich as hell, and he was the greatest president since Lincoln. Ron Paul published a racist nutbar newsletter for 20 years. He's a consistent supporter of white supremacists and militia conspiratoralists. He opposes federal environmental laws, consumer and laws, securities regulation - pretty much all the laws that protect ordinary people from the huge, anticompetitive powers of big corporations. He's a flake and a fraud.

Do your research on Ron Paul, this is the only candidate that wants less government in our lives. He is against the war and for the constitution. The reason you don't hear about him is because he is not being bought by the main stream media and big corporations. I'm really am amazed by all of the puppets that live in the good ole usa It seems as if you watch too much abc, cbs, nbc, fox,

Posted by: wabg on 02/17/08 at 2:08 PM  Respond

Yeah, I want to see Ron Paul's house too.

We already know all the other candidates are the rich elite.
