This is a very good series! No wonder they're out of touch with the average voter.
Can you imagine being Bush jr and growing up with your father as president? he has probably never spent one day with poor people in his entire life.

From the previous comment:
"Can you imagine being Bush jr and growing up with your father as president?"
George W. Bush was 42 when his father was elected president. He didn't grow up with his father as president. How is it a prerequisite that you spend time with poor people before you're allowed to be president?

Where is Ron Paul's house?

You would think with a title like "Reality check" you would include Ron Paul!

My reaction is that both the photos and the comments are more part of the problem than the voices of wisdom we need to heal this planet.
Oprah's houses and many "Liberal" celebrities homes are much nicer than these, so what?
Some billionaires are enlightened and some are
evil. Just as we have been told not to judge a book by its cover, to judge a person by their house only points to
our own immaturity.

The truth is that they are all the kinds of homes that one would expect a presidential candidate to live in.
Come on, did you really expect to see some "man of the people" living in a double-wide trailer out in Twitty, Texas running for pres ?

Hello. Bill.
Your post reads like it's written by a third grader.

This is very interesting information and good to know; however, I'd love more info about how these personal fortunes were made. That tells me far more about the individual than where he/she lives today.

Kay - All these people have been in government, except for Mitt Romney, who made all his money on his own prior to being governor of Massachusetts. He's just a very smart guy.
