After looking at honfest.net I still don't know what this is about except it has something to do with bad hair styles.

Hi, it's my pic. Hon is Baltimore-ese for honey, as in 'what can I get ya, hon?' at the diner. Hon Fest is a yearly tradition in the Hampden neighborhood, sort of a celebration of 50s kitsch.
