Office Gear Piles Up
Chairs and various computer and filing equipment pile up in the Features area of the newsroom. "This looks like a landfill," Gee says. "It's like where our stuff goes to die. I'm surprised nobody's cleaned it up. It's really weird."

The reason that MOJO appears so depressing to you is because you have your head you know where. Pull it out and look around. The real world can be extremely disturbing. If you want to read "happy news" go read Guideposts, YES! or children's stories. Go back in your hole and you'll feel more comfortable there.
