Today's battle about the inane NY Post page six toon comparing Obama to the dead chimp is joined. Justified calls of condemnation are pouring in. The Post cartoonist, clearly a hack, either followed a bizarrely racist or brain dead (or both) editorial line or came by this all by himself. It is a piece of dreck any way you slice it.

Mistaken Identity
I can see someone like Al, the sky is falling, Sharpton claiming that monkey represents Obama. But I figured you would understand that the out-of-control monkey represents the authors of the bill (house of representatives democrats). BTW, heard that those out-of-control monkeys were spending vacation sorry... I meant on a fact finding mission in Italy on the taxpayers dime.

So much denial... Until people, ALL OF US, are willing to face the truth and speak honestly about race, things will be very slow to advance. Attacks on Rev. Sharpton, who responded even-handedly and articulate fashion on Olberman are not warranted in the least. This is a classic case of shooting the messenger. The man has just as right to speak on this issue as anyone else. Besides, as an activist he would be remiss to remain silent. It is not an us and them scenario. We are all Americans we should be on the same team. We all stand to benefit from celebrating our diversity. What a wonderful gift.

America does not want this spendulous pakage. Why don't you Democrats listen to the people of America and cut taxes instead of this horrible democracy killling loan. It has been proven that the top 1% of the earners in Amerika pay 90% of the taxes here. The Congress should cut taxes for them, and they will use that money to create jobs. There are no jobs in the spendulous package, just welfare contracts. The democrats created this economic mess. This is a center right nation, and the rising tide of discontent will soon drown the social democrat fascists. The Amerikan people are keeping track, as Rush has observed on his radio show from the anger and disbelief in phone calls to his show. Please, for you're own good, democrats, change your direction. All things considered, and I think you'll agree, President Bush, like another president that War was forced on (Lincoln) was not so bad in hindsite.
