Iraq will be the number one issue in the November election, says Brian Katulis, senior fellow at the Center for American Progress. He explains why the CAP's Iraq Report Card finds Iraq "on the brink of collapse with growing violence, increased sectarian tensions, divisions in the Iraqi national government, and few significant advances in Iraq's economic reconstruction."
Plus, we talk to two of the heroes of "Hacking Democracy," a new film about electronic voting fraud. Bev Harris runs the non-profit Black Box Voting, and Ion Sancho is the Leon County, FL elections supervisor whose inquiry into the safety of electronic voting led him to believe "the whole core of the American electoral system is rotten and we need to deal with that."
Also, we talk to radio host and author Thom Hartmann about his new book "Screwed: The Undeclared War Against the Middle Class". Finally, we hear from Mother Jones contributor Laura Rozen about Iranian exile Amir Abbas Fakhravar. Could he become war hawks' "Iranian Chalabi?"
