Nathan C. Walker is the executive director of the student movement to create a national tuition endowment. Walker studies federal financial aid as a doctoral student in the higher education administration program at Teachers College, Columbia University, where he received tuition-exemption for his master of arts degree. Thanks to numerous scholarships, Nate earned a master of divinity degree from Union Theological Seminary in New York. In addition to his graduate training, Walker received substantial assistance from his parents to complete a bachelor of fine arts from Emerson College.
Walker currently serves as the consulting minister to the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Staten Island, and previously trained as a chaplain at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. As a higher education professional, he served as an instructor at Western Nevada Community College, an advisor for New York University, and a medical-accreditation coordinator for Columbia University.
