Peter H. Stone is a staff member for the National Journal. Since 1992, he has been covering lobbying and campaign finance issues for the magazine. His work has appeared in a number of newspapers and magazines, including the Washington Post, New York Times, The American Prospect, Atlantic Monthly, Mother Jones, and The Paris Review. His first book, "Heist: Superlobbyist Jack Abramoff, His Republican Allies, and the Buying of Washington," was published in October 2006.
