Conservative YouTube Steals Its Smokin' Logo From Philip Morris
There's already some derisive buzz about QubeTV, the video sharing site for conservatives who claim that liberal media giant YouTube won't let them play in its digital sandbox. I haven't had time to wade into its archives, but I notice that it's off to a great start by appropriating part of its logo from Altria (A.K.A. Philip Morris). Are the Qubers just lazy graphic designers or image-remixing copyfighters? We'll see what happens when the first cease-and-desist letter arrives...

Makes you wonder whether this is a serious effort or slapstick.
Or whether Altria is sponsoring it to promote its conservative, pro-death product.

One would assume the wRong wingnut whackos, with their elephant dung propaganda, would know all about trademark law ?
Especially since, they tried to use frivolous trademark claims to suppress Free Speech:

Considering that the Bush administration has been extremely diligent about lowering the record fines imposed upon the tobacco industry, is there any wonder that a tobacco giant would openly declare its "affiliation" & gratitude (especially, with campaign contributions, comp'd travel, and, various other forms of pay-back)?
The GOP has a quid-pro-quo relationship with, and, caters to the monied elite, and, in this country, there are few larger money-makers than big-tobacco

It's GOP SOP; remember the Pajamas Media incarnation as "Open Source Media", when they stole their name and logo? (10 seconds with Google would've told them it was taken.)
