Tea Party's Burning ManOath Keepers, Redcoats, and the world's largest can of bug spray: The Tea Party rallies in the desert.
Last Saturday, one week after Congress passed health care reform into law, 10,000 Tea Partiers converged on the desert of southeast Nevada for a mega-rally in Sen. Harry Reid's hometown of Searchlight. Sarah Palin headlined the event, billed by organizers as the "Conservative Woodstock." From Searchlight, the Tea Party Express Tour (minus Palin), will hit 23 more states on its way to Washington, DC for the April 15 Tax Day Tea Party. I attended so you didn't have to. Here's what I saw.
