Jakob Schiller is a freelance photographer based in Albuquerque, NM. He has a masters degree in journalism from UC Berkeley. He worked at the Redding Record Searchlight until 2009. His writing and photography have appeared in publications including the Los Angeles Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, and PBS's FRONTLINE/World. His work has also been recognized by the National Press Photographers Association, the Scripps Journalism Awards, and the California Newspaper Publishers Association.
