Caitlyn Jenner Slams Ted Cruz’s Bathroom Policy with Video of Her Using Trump Tower Restrooms

“By the way, Ted, no one got molested.”

Last week, while expressing his disapproval over North Carolina’s controversial new bathroom law, Donald Trump said that if Caitlyn Jenner ever found herself in need of a bathroom, she was welcome to swing by Trump Tower in Manhattan and use the bathroom of her choice. On Wednesday, the reality star took the Republican front-runner up on his offer and did just that.

“Donald Trump said I could take a pee anywhere at a Trump facility, so I am going to go take a pee in the ladies room,” Jenner said in a video posted to Facebook.

As she is seen exiting the women’s bathroom, Jenner takes a moment and looks at the camera: “By the way Ted, nobody got molested.” Her message, of course, was directed to Sen. Ted Cruz. The presidential hopeful has repeatedly defended North Carolina’s HB2 law, arguing that such rules protect people from sexual “predators.”

While Jenner’s video is commendable, her politics are a bit more complex—the noted Republican has previously said that she believes Trump would be “great for women’s issues” and that she hoped to see Cruz become a “trans ambassador”—comments that triggered an onslaught of criticism from the LGBT community.

And it looks like Jenner may have gotten into the ladies room at Trump Towers just in time. After Cruz attacked the real estate magnate’s comments objecting to North Carolina’s law, Trump hastily backtracked, saying that the issue should be left to each state to decide. There was no word on whether he planned on withdrawing his bathroom offer to Jenner—yet.
