Ask not what fish can do for you. Save our marine life! (See “Cry of the Ocean,” July/August 1994.) The International Collective in Support of Fishworkers is calling fora ban on bottom-trawling in tropical waters (90 percent of the total is bycatch) and a boycott of farm-raised tiger prawns (rich mangrove forests are being replaced by shrimp farms). Eat fruit instead.
