White Republican Sausage Fest Ready To Negotiate With Senate, Eric Cantor Alleges

On Tuesday—the first day of the new government shutdown—House Majority Leader Eric Cantor tweeted that House Republicans are “ready to negotiate with the Senate” to end the shutdown. On the tweet, Cantor used the hashtag “#FairnessForAll” and included the following photo:

Last year, House Republicans held a hearing in which a room full of men spent a morning publicly discussing birth control, menstrual pain, ovarian cancer, migraine headaches, and religious freedom. Republican sausage fests are sort of a thing.
