First Lady Michelle Obama gave a blistering speech Thursday in which she said that Donald Trump’s remarks from a 2005 video released last week have had a profound effect on her.

“I can’t believe that I’m saying that a candidate for President of the United States has bragged about assaulting women,” she said at a Clinton campaign rally in New Hampshire. “I can’t stop thinking about this. It has shaken me to my core in a way that I couldn’t have predicted.”

Obama went on to explain why Trump’s comments were “cruel” and “frightening.”
