Slow Food Nation
August 29-September 1, 2008
The world's most pressing questions are all deeply connected to the food we eat and how it's produced. Slow Food Nation 2008 is a watershed event that will feature hundreds of farmers, food artisans, and advocates from across the country and offer food, music, talks, forums, workshops, films, and exhibits that highlight an agricultural system that is good, clean, and fair. Stop by the Welcome Pavilions at Civic Center and Fort Mason to meet MoJo staffers and grab the most recent issue!
Art of Democracy: War and Empire

San Francisco’s Meridian Gallery will host the Bay Area's most comprehensive show on art and politics. Work by some 40 artists will fill Meridian’s three-level, turn of the century building from early September through early November. Join us for the opening on September 4 from 6-9 pm.
Fighting Bob Fest

New York is Book Country
