Your Weekend "Are You Ready for War With Iran?" News Roundup

It was all Iran, all the time over the weekend.

The New Yorker's Seymour Hersh wrote about the United States' increasingly developed and sophisticated plans to attack Iran, and how the Bush Administration is augmenting the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan with a regional push against expanding Shiite influence, an effort that has led it to join forces with al Qaeda-linked groups.

The UK's Times reported that "up to five generals and admirals are willing to resign" if Bush asks the military to strike Iran.

And the LA Times reported that 2007 is groundhog year, with the Bush Administration pushing the same phony intelligence on Iran that it did with Iraq, and the same U.N. agencies doing their best to debunk it all. Says the Times, "most U.S. intelligence shared with the U.N. nuclear watchdog agency has proved inaccurate and none has led to significant discoveries inside Iran."

It's just a matter of time until Dick Cheney tells us all to buy duct tape and plastic sheeting. Happy apocalypse!

It's a sure thing that the troops are going to be pulled out of Iraq. The option of going to war is there, and what else?

The 9-11 event at first united the American people. We are now divided. The most important thing to America's leadership is who is going to be in control, Republicans or Democrats. The most important thing to Iran's leadership is who is going to be in control of the world.

Talk didn't stop Hitler. Almighty God is on Iran's side. Their leader is Muhammad, who lived by the sword. Israel has to go. U.S. policy is to tighten the screws. We've yet to see it. What are we going to do, go to war? No way! Iran is counting on talk. We are going to talk. The next to go down will be Europe. What are we going to do about it? Talk.

It is time for politicians to listen and the people to talk---Jews, Christians, Muslims, agnostics, and atheists all over the world.

I GUESS WE SHOULD JUST WAIT UNTIL IRAN GETS NUKES SO THEY CAN BE IN A BETTER POSITION TO LEVERAGE THE ENTIRE MIDDLE EAST AND UNITED STATES. ONCE IT AQUIRES NUKES, IT WILL HAVE A LOT MORE BARGAINING POWER. GOD, I HOPE THEY GET THOSE NUKES. MAYBE THEY WILL MAKE GOOD ON THEIR PROMISE TO WIPE OUT ISRAEL WHILE THE U.S. STANDS ON THE SIDELINE AND WATCHES.
