Bush AIDS Abstinence Appointee Quits State Dept. in Hooker Scandal
That headline pretty much says it all, but here are the details.
Expect more bombshells in hookergate later in the week.

Ha HA!
We should feel sorry for somebody who is sick. We wish him God's speed in over coming his sexual addiction.

"We should feel sorry for somebody who is sick. We wish him God's speed in over coming his sexual addiction."
So if these hypocrites will parrot the ideology you fundamentalists like, you don't really care if they believe it or not?
What makes this guy sick isn't that he likes sex, it's that he sublimated what would have been normal sexual urges to fit with religious dogma, and wound up, as so many of these assholes do, banging hookers so he could have his sexual desires fulfilled outside the public sphere and not look like the hypocrite he is. See also, Haggard, Ted.
Abstinence-only sex-education just does not work. The data does not support it, common sense does not support it. It's a bit ironic that propping up a policy that results in greater spread of AIDS and the attendant deaths of those infected is apparently no big deal, it's the fact that the guy had sex with a hooker that gets him in trouble.
