Daily Republican Sex Scandal Roundup
The question of whether Florida Rep. Bob Allen, co-chairman of John McCain's Florida campaign, tried to pay an undercover male cop $20 to give or receive a blowjob has been answered. According to the police officer's report from the arrest (via Pandagon):
Allen engaged me in a conversation in which it was agreed that he would pay me $20.00 in order to perform a "blow job" on me. Allen stated that he wanted me to ride with him accross [sic] the river before he performed the act and gave me the money. Before entering Allen's vehicle I identified myself as a police officer and detained him.
I'm glad we cleared that up. I should also mention that between 2003 and 2006, Allen voted with the Christian Coalition over 90 percent of the time.
Speaking of hypocritical Christian conservatives... Jack Burkman, a GOP political operative, conservative pundit, and former lobbyist for James Dobson's Family Research Council, was just exposed as being on the DC Madam's list.

You bring some good points up Jonny. The Christian right needs to have a "witch hunt" and clean house of all these reprobates. Keep it coming.

This blowhard's blowjob is at the heart of what is wrong with the republican party. The culture of blindly siding with the bullies of America's politically religious creates insincere politicians. Is there anything more pathetic than a grown lawmaker rooting through the bathrooms of a Florida park to then pay someone to get them off after having pushed for laws to discriminate against men rooting around in the bathrooms of a Florida park to pay someone to get them off?

Iran's spokesperson said "the 20 additional executions were for such things as "rape, insulting religious sanctities and laws, and homosexuality." Most executions in Iran are hangings, often in public and at the scenes of the alleged crimes." In Iran they hang homosexuals. Remember boys and girls, Islam is the religion of peace. Islam is the fastest growing religion in America.

ALL very strange bedfellows, the Republican Party and their two big religions, Catholic(my religion but not me) fundamentalists encouraged by the previous and present Popes and the evangelical fundamentalists encouraged by Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell(now dead) James Dobson and Hagee et.al. All very strange bedfellows, but bedfellows nonetheless, and all totally endorsing and supportive of the Republican Party.
But then the catholic church, my church, endorsed and supported Hitler and the Nazi Party before, during and after WWII and just look at what that gave the world(can we say Holocaust). So I guess there is nothing new here. As they endorse and support Bush and the Republican Party, same a same; same thing all over again. One party rule, one party domination, and an end to our very democracy.
Can we all say thank you to the popes and the catholic church, once was not enough they have to do it again.
Jesus Christ forbade the merging of church and state but then cherry picking religious relativists abound among right wingers; male dominated, authoritarian, dogmatic, absolutists that are obsessed with sex, like teenagers(but that is normal for their age)but grown men who have never gotten over their obsession with sex and all things related.
Why do religions, catholic and protestant, always attract people/members who hate sex, yet are obsessed with it. I sometimes watch EWTN, the catholic cable channel, and this obsession is evident EVERYDAY; and even many times throughout the day.
I just wish all the fundies, Catholic, evangelical and Islamic would go somewhere and all fight and kill each other. That would leave the rest of us to get on with our lives, and far more peaceful our lives would be. Do any of us really need this never ending pro-death for profit and ideology group of ghouls and stooges. Me thinks NOT, NOT, NOT and did I say NOT.
