OBAMA's Racist Church states: Trinity United Church of Christ
About Us: We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black … Our roots in the Black religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. We are an African people, and remain "true to our native land," the mother continent, the cradle of civilization. God has superintended our pilgrimage through the days of slavery, the days of segregation, and the long night of racism. It is God who gives us the strength and courage to continuously address injustice as a people, and as a congregation. We constantly affirm our trust in God through cultural expression of a Black worship service and ministries which address the Black Community.
Trinity United Church of Christ adopted the Black Value System written by the Manford Byrd Recognition Committee chaired by Vallmer Jordan in 1981. We believe in the following precepts and covenantal statements. These Black Ethics must be taught and exemplified in homes, churches, nurseries and schools, wherever Blacks are gathered. They must reflect on the following concepts:
2. Commitment to the Black Community
3. Commitment to the Black Family
6. Adherence to the Black Work Ethic
8. Disavowal of the Pursuit of "Middleclassness"Disavowal of the Pursuit of “Middleclassness”
Classic methodology on control of captives teaches that captors must keep the captive ignorant educationally, but trained sufficiently well to serve the system. Also, the captors must be able to identify the “talented tenth” of those subjugated, especially those who show promise of providing the kind of leadership that might threaten the captor’s control.
Those so identified as separated from the rest of the people by:
Killing them off directly, and/or fostering a social system that encourages them to kill off one another.
Placing them in concentration camps, and/or structuring an economic environment that induces captive youth to fill the jails and prisons.
Seducing them into a socioeconomic class system which while training them to earn more dollars, hypnotizes them into believing they are better than others and teaches them to think in terms of “we” and “they” instead of “us”…
10. Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting Black Institutions
11. Pledge allegiance to all Black leadership who espouse and embrace the Black Value System
12. Personal commitment to embracement of the Black Value System.
Instead of "Black", put in Mexican or White and you will be called a racist.
Don't vote for Obama the Racist, vote for Senator Clinton, a friend of the California Mexican people.

Isabella – Nice hack job. Maybe it would be better if Obama was Catholic? A church with a long track record of inequality, racism, sexism, anti-Jew, anti-Protestant, anti-Muslim - not in words, but in deeds. And keep in mind that the Pope (JPII and Benedict) has said that Catholicism is a truer religion and a more direct way to Christ. That has to be an “-isim” or “-ist” of some sort. Maybe one that is more acceptable to you. As long as people like you keep making religion an issue, we will never grow as a country.
As for “Senator Clinton, a friend of the California Mexican people.”, that is only when she is talking to you. Behind your back. It is a horse of a different color.
Joseph – Funny, I hear Hillary talking a lot about change. Maybe she would like to change her track record on the war? You are right, talk is cheap and actions say everything. Hillary has a long, long history of both. Not the type of “experience” that I’m looking for. Maybe my standards are too high.
Worst video ever. As bad as the above “points”.

This video is awesome. Its the manifestation of a NEW generation of politically aware people in America. It's time for the establishment to step aside. They've had 50 years to show what they can do, and frankly I'm not impressed.
Youth are getting involved like never before. GIVE US A CHANCE to restore America to its rightful role as an advocate of social justice, equality, and true democracy.

Isabella –I hope by “We” you mean all Americans who believe that a united country of many cultures, races and religions is stronger than one that is made up of “hyphenated-Americans” who only gain their strength through division. Unfortunately, you seem to be focusing on who you think will serve “the California Mexican people”. Not sure how you can not think that is racist, but if that gets you through the day, I wish you luck.
I tend to be less selfish in who I seek out as a representative or president. I prefer candidates who will do the best of all of America and not just my religious, ethnic, cultural demographic or geographical location.
I am looking for someone who will focus on what we have in common as Americans instead of defining our differences. For those who create division do so to exploit fear.
Please excuse me for being presumptive, but both of your posts seem to be derived from these lesser human qualities. I truly hope you (and others like you) can resolve your fear. Fear leads to anger. Anger to hate. Hate to suffering. And I do not want that for you, me or our country.
And I’m sorry that you thought that I was trying to persuade you. I had no such intention. You seem to have found your candidate. If you feel that the best way that you can support her is by tearing down others, then keep at it. In the end, rational Americans will see who the real leader is. We are at our greatest together and the greatest leader is the one who will bring us together – as AMERICANS!
As for Jonathan Stein, he must be cursed with having good taste. Will-I-Am (if that is his real name) is a second rate pop hack. He will be forgotten in 10 years.

There are some seriously ignorant people in this country. What is the value of degrading someone simply because you don't like them? I will never understand that. Politicians use hate, fear, and most importantly IGNORANCE to get what they want. I see examples of all three on this string. Maybe after Barack IS elected, you will become supporters of the only President that actually includes the people he represent in the decisions he make. Everyone said talk was cheap when Lebron was being heralded as the next Jordan - but look at what he has proven. Hillary's experience doesn't make her the best candidate, just like Shaq's experience or Greg Norman's experience doesn't make them the best at their job either. The hate he get's stems from race, and when this country acknowledges that and admits their stupidity for it we will be better off. If Barack was the same guy in a white body he would be the only candidate running. Hillary would never even attempt to run against a white version of Barack, despite who her husband was.
It's time for us to grow up. US - as in the U.S.. US, because when a foreigner reads this site, he sees the views of an American. It is all of our jobs to educate the rest of US. I'm just doing my part. Let Barack do his. If you choose Hillary, choose her because you think she is the best candidate for the job, not because she is the familar white face. Not because she's not the black guy which the suspicious name. It didn't stop Muhammad Ali from being recognized as the greatest of all time. (Can you tell I love my sports?)

OH - BTW, the video? If you knew anything about the motivators of the younger generation of America, or even simply the attention grabbers of our world in this day and age, not only would you recognize every single person in that video, you would also understand why Barack is the right choice.
He is bringing what's needed to this country - UNITY. He is also bridging gaps that some of you didn't even know was there, or refused to acknowledge.

Yes, we can.
We have all waited for a leader who could unite us. He has arrived. Now it is up to us. We need to get behind him and support him.
If we don’t, we will get the age old divisive politics… and that includes Hillary.
Obama’s strong record and lifetime achievements show that he not only talks a great vision, but he acts on it as well.
Please give of your time, support, and, yes, donations if possible. however, if you do nothing else, talk to others. We need to do our part.
Yes, we can.

Isabella, I have no idea where you got those 'concepts' from. Here is what I found on the website for Obama's church (http://www.tucc.org/):
A congregation committed to ADORATION.
A congregation preaching SALVATION.
A congregation actively seeking RECONCILIATION.
A congregation with a non-negotiable COMMITMENT TO AFRICA.
A congregation committed to BIBLICAL EDUCATION.
A congregation committed to CULTURAL EDUCATION.
A congregation committed to the HISTORICAL EDUCATION OF AFRICAN PEOPLE IN DIASPORA.
A congregation committed to LIBERATION.
A congregation committed to RESTORATION.
A congregation working towards ECONOMIC PARITY.
So where did you find those talking points?

Homer, you left our the paragraph before the part that you pasted:"We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian... Read some more of the church's website. See how AFROCENTRIC it is. No mention about Hispanics or Mexicans. He is 100% AfroAmerican. He is exclusive nor inclusive. Don't believe his lies of being inclusive. He does not fool us Mexicans. In California, we are voting for Senator Clinton, she understands our struggle. The AFROAMERICANS here vote for the AfroCentric candidate and the Mexicans vote for Senator Clinton.

Isabella:
Since you were the first person to raise the issue of "race" (not the church), perhaps you could define "race" - and specify exactly where "the Mexican people of California" fit into what you believe. Thanks. That would be helpful.

Some more from Obama's racist, non inclusive church:
THE MINISTRY
The Center for African Biblical Studies is AFRICAN-CENTERED...
seeking to implement and promote Bible Study from an African perspective.
WHY AFRICAN?
Because…“We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian...our roots in the Black religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. We are an African people, and we remain “true to our native land”, the mother continent, the cradle of civilization. God has superintended our pilgrimage through the days of slavery, the days of segregation, and the long night of racism. It is God who gives us the strength and courage to continuously address injustice as a people, and as a congregation; and we constantly affirm our trust in God through the cultural expression of a Black worship service and ministries which address the Black community.”
Does this sound inclusive or exclusive. Sounds like a Black David Duke Church to me. Not a place where a Mexican would feel welcomed.
Posted by: Isabella Fernandez on 02/04/08 at 7:10 AM Respond
Isabella,
I never said that part was wrong, did I?
Some more from his church:
"W.E.B. DuBois indicated that the problem in the 20th century was going to be the problem of the color line. He was absolutely correct. Our job as servants of God is to address that problem and eradicate it in the name of Him who came for the whole world by calling all men, women, boys and girls to Christ."
and
"Black theology is one of the many theologies in the Americas that became popular during the liberation theology movement. They include Hispanic theology, Native American theology, Asian theology and Womanist theology."
I'm sure if you'd ask, they'd apologize for not focusing on the citizens of a country 1000 miles to the south. Perhaps if this church were a southwestern phenomenon they would have a different mission.
So I'll ask again, where are you getting your talking points?
Posted by: homer on 02/04/08 at 7:21 AM Respond
Obama, like his church, is not inclusive, he, like his church is exclusive and he is no progressive. Vote for Senator Clinton, an inclusive candidate.
Posted by: Isabella Fernandez on 02/04/08 at 8:36 AM Respond
Isabella - what exactly are you trying to prove? That Obama is black? Why does the fact that his church, which is obviously a African-based Congregation, speak of it's history and the history of it's ancestors and their commitment to move past the hatred of the past, present, and - by the way you're talking - future bother you? Just because his church supports its history and ancestors does not make him any less of an uniter. I don't hear you speaking about the fact that Hillary was born in a racist household, raised as a Republican, and didn't switch until she met Bill. His church is exclusive - SO??? Are you not exclusive to your partner? Assuming that you live a normal, hetrosexual lifestyle, does that mean you can't support a male friend in his efforts to support his family?
AMERICANS, especially Black Americans, are not typically manipulated by their religious beliefs, only influenced. If Obama is influenced by his church to put his own heritage in the forefront for the enpowerment of his family, community, race, and ancestors, why do you have a problem with that? He never said it was abour manipulating his country, did he? Did you denounce your Mexican heritage when you moved here, or your family? Did you stop speaking spanish because you were no longer affiliated with that country when you moved here? Of course not. So why should he, or anyone for that matter?? It's not like he said he would change the color of the flag to Red, Black, and Green. Think about what you are saying. Oh, by the way, I too live in California, and I don't know many people - Black, White, Hispanic, Mexican, American Indian or otherwise who are planning to pick Hillary over Obama. If they are it is for some of the same racist, sexist points we are hearing every day. It has nothing to do with leadership.

Isabella - Barack H. Obama is NOT Mexican or Hispanic. Period. Get over it.

Video's are nice - I bet the ad during the Superbowl was costly. My goodness - I've heard such nice words before – How somebody – usually male - will just make everything ALL better. How much do all these REALLY qualify Obama to represent "the people"? Anyone out there able to afford a mansion? Maybe an ad during the Superbowl? Technology is great. But when it's time to put food on the table, put the kids through some kind of education that will support their dreams for the future, take care of elderly parents, provide help and healthcare for our children, seniors, vets, and those that don't have healthcare, provide new and innovative jobs so that war, crisis and disaster are no longer the most profitable businesses in America, put qualified people in positions of authority and decision making instead of all those who helped you get elected - when it's time to restore our standing in the world and restore the Constitution and Bill of Rights to protect our precious freedom, keeping this country safe from terrorists while preserving the planet - Obama not only doesn't have a clue - he doesn't have a plan nor a viable way of funding all his pretty rhetoric - Clinton does. It takes more than charisma, pretty faces and pretty talk to get people to talk and unify - Clinton has done that and knows how to make it happen and what it will take to clean up the mess of the last 8 years. http://www.hillaryclinton.com/issues. The only one's who want Obama are the ones who want to do nothing but dream, ignorant of what it takes to make things happen and of course those who will profit by things staying the same - especially those heavily invested in the war-machine and its affiliates. Technology is supposed to do all kinds of wonderful things for reality - but not for those who do nothing but dream, those on too much medication, those who haven't a clue what it takes to live a reality that won't go away with a video game and certainly those who could never handle REAL change – right brain change..

I think either Democrat will make a far better president than any of the GOP candidates.
No politician from any party is a ticket to good governance and all politicians seems to do some things that make us all mad.
We have to hold their feet to the fire and assert our power as the people. They all work for all of us.
I don't expect to always be in the majority nor in agreement with anybody all the time but we need people to participate and vote and stand up for what they believe.
Standing up is never belittling or disparaging it is being for something not against something.
This contest is inside the party and tearing down either candidate is destructive not constructive.
Maybe I'm too old fashioned.

For the record:
It doesn't matter who is singing.
What matters is the message, the hope,
the CHANCE of change.
Can we see the action, before anyone is in office? No. But we can see what has gone before.
We can no more see the action ahead, for this man, than we can with any candidate. At some point, one must find a vision, have the willingness to work for the better instead of spending time in petty bickerings.
This country needs someone to inspire, to bring together, to lead us
towards the good. No guarantees from anywhere, but this one gives me hope.

capt, embee, forestlady, maryM, you are all thinking down the right paths, and I am glad to know that along with some of the older postings, we now outnumber those like the Fernandez "family" - or Cartel, who are in my opinion extremely "suspect". Anyone who boasts about "taking over" the prisons is so far from valuable to our country or themselves its depressing. You can have SoCal, it was yours to begin with. The American leaders of the past took it from Mexico, but never told anyone to leave. So, its yours. Congrats, Americans still have 49.5 states to call our own, and a "gang" of people who will not let you take anything from us, except maybe the prison population, but good luck. Whatever it takes to get our black population back where they belong - in our classrooms and businesses. Congrats to you too, Isabella, Hillary won your vote in Cali. Now all you can do is sit back and hope that the political rhetoric you've heard from her is true. I promise not to come back on here and say "I told you so". I have been following Hillary every since she first started in public politics. She has a strong head and a good heart, but at the end of the day, her actions speak for her self interest. You need to learn - among other things - how to spot an American politician when you see one.
As for the race, Super Tuesday was a fun one, now it's time for those who never seemed to matter to main stream media to decide who runs this country. For the first time, everyone in the Democratic party will have a voice. I will support either candidate, but the facts are the facts. We stand a better chance of healing and growing with Obama. Hillary's past in politics is nothing to boast about. Do your research. You think a woman who would let her husband get caught cheating on her - in "their" house, get EMPEACHED, and admit to it after lying to her and his country....can RUN America in the eyes of the world? She can't control her own home! How can she control Iran? She can't please her own husband! How can she please the American people? You all better hope I'm wrong if she wins, or vote for Obama if you think I'm right. At least he doesn't have a history of showing weakness in public.
To think, Isabella and her "brother" the Trader actually get to have a say in the future of my children. I have nothing against Mexicans, hell I married one! It's just dumb people in general. That was mean, I know, and to my civilized Americans, I apologize for the reflections that my comment bring to our nation - but those two need to know where they stand, or even better, where to sit and shut up. Probably in Mexico...or prison.
