PEBO? AFAIK people who live in TriBeCa, SoHo and DUMBO already know about PEBO. Why is OC so far behind?
I would have bet money it wasn't possible to come up with a dumber-sounding presidential nickhame than POTUS.
And why are we just hearing about PEBO with THIS president-elect?
OK, consonants and vowels, I get it.
But why not PEGB? Pronounced "peg-bee."
Won't conservatives call him PEBHO to remind us of that middle name? Not that he's doing much for, say, Palestinians right now anyway ...

PEBO, man that's totally gonna stick, because Peabo Bryson was (is) such a smooth, innocuous, unscary type of performer. Yet not at all fey or wussy, but totally stable and reassuring. There simply isn't a soul singer who makes for a better analogy with Obama, except maybe James Ingram.
