More Bad News for Edwards, Obama
Kevin Drum blogs today's Los Angeles Times poll (PDF):
[Clinton's] supporters are more firmly in her camp than Edwards' or Obama's. Interesting! I would have guessed that Obama had the bigger corps of highly dedicated supporters. Second, and more important, Hillary leads not just in the general category of "more experienced," but in the very specific categories of "best at fighting terrorism" and "best at ending the Iraq war." And she leads by enormous margins.
Also worth noting is that Clinton leads the "Have the best chance of beating the Republican candidate in November" category by double digits in Iowa and a stunning 30 or more points in New Hampshire and South Carolina. Since concerns about electability derailed Howard Dean's campaign and brought John Kerry to the forefront in 2004, Hillary's advantage in this category could prove to be decisive. The problem, of course, is that primary voters were wrong about John Kerry's electability. Could they be wrong about Hilldog's?

The Democratic party power elite, along with "Yellow Dog" Dems will do their utmost to see that their nominee is the candidate with "the best chance to beat the Republican", rather than worry about a little thing like which one would be best for the USofA.
The Repub's power elite will work from the exact same motivation.
As a result, rather than seeing a choice like Dennis Kucinich vs. Ron Paul, their offerings will again be the "hold your noses and try to figure out which one is less evil than the other" variety.
As for myself, if the nominees from the big two come from what the media like to call their "top tier" candidates, I'll be doing what I've been doing for some time;
Stepping out of line, Refusing to select Either evil, and go with the best possible candidate, who'll be from a third party.

Hillary has "prayer power". Her "cell" is praying for her.(see MoJo article on) Just get use to having weekly Bible studies and Sunday sermons when she becomes President. Bush was stupid and dumb. Hillary is smart and communicates well. The Evangelicals are pushing Hillary to an overwhelming surge. She can not be defeated. You leftists better get on the bus or get thrown under the bus.
I'm sorry Carol, but I just can't see Evangelicals lining up behind a woman who wrote something titled "It Takes a Village to Raise a Child".
However, if you can show me an Evangelical site that's supporting Hillary, I'm always willing to learn something new.
I thought I was the only person who did not want Hillary to be the next President. I see her as manipulative, self serving, and Bush in a dress.

Personally, I don't care much to delve into whether a politician really believes the faith they put on display for the public (Jesus said to "go to your closet to pray"... not to put it on public display)
That's all between them and their God, and won't sway me one whit in my voting.
I just find it curious that someone says "evangelicals are pushing Hillary to an overwhelming surge", and there's no evangelical that I've heard, or heard of, who's said they're pushing Hillary anywhere except into the pits of hell, and I happen to have a brother-in-law who's an evangelical preacher...
