Vitter vs. Craig: Homophobic Hypocrisy from the GOP
Wouldn't you know it, the GOP is treating Sen. Larry Craig, who solicited sex from a man, very, very differently than it treated Sen. David Vitter, who admitted to using a (heterosexual) prostitution service. You can check out Think Progress for details, but here's what you need to know: a number of Republicans have called for Craig to resign, the party leadership has stripped him of his committee assignments, and the GOP has asked for an ethics investigation into his actions.
When David Vitter rose to speak in front of his fellow Republicans a few days after he admitted the "sin" in his past, he received "thunderous applause" from his colleagues.

You are "spot on" Idaho has a Republican Govenor, so a replacement for Craig will be a Republican....But Vitters home state, Louisiana has a Democratic Govenor..so it easy to see why, even though what Vitters did is against the law in (Washington D.C.) he gets a pass...and what do the democrats do..as usual..nothing.
You see..nothing will stand in the way of Republican power...not ethics and surely not the Law..and the Democrats will cry, wet themselves and grovel at the foot of the.... Powerful Wizard of Oz..pathetic!!

Abnormality breeds Republicans into all walks of life. These beings lack purpose, are useless to the progress of Humanity, and ultimately inflict their abnormal values onto the rest of society. This is seen through counter-productive laws, laws restricting peoples' freedoms, laws empowering those who fatten their pockets, and empowering terrorists who engage in homosexual acts with them. It's a non-productive group destined to force society to accept their presence...even if by psychological terrorism. No wonder God's wrath is constantly upon you...

Johnny, you don't understand the GOP. We don't consider it normal to be a homosexual. It is consider normal to be hetrosexual. Vitter acted upon normal sexual urges and Craig is as looney as a bird. We don't know his confusing sexual preferences, but we do know that he acts crazy. Hence, we dump him overboard. He is a Jonah. The party is making it clear that it will not tolerate any homosexual activity that brings disgrace upon the party. Long live the Party.

I guarantee you if the governor of Idaho were a Dem (and thus sure to appoint a Democrat) the Republicans would be defending Craig. Why do you think none of them have called for Vitter to quit?
