Charlie Black, John McCain Aide and Super-Lobbyist

John McCain's primary defender in the Lady Lobbyist Scandal* is a man named Charlie Black. As a senior adviser to the campaign who is doing McCain's damage control right now, Black has to explain to the press that John McCain didn't have a romantic relationship with lobbyist Vicki Iseman, didn't treat Iseman's clients with undue favoritism, and isn't too close to lobbyists in general despite his years of anti-lobbyist rhetoric.

Black, of course, is a lobbyist. In fact, as the head of the extremely influential lobby shop BKSH and Associates, he's one of Washington's most powerful influence-peddlers. In the Washington Post story today about the lobbyists that populate the upper ranks of McCain's campaign (here's another guy), Black is listed as working for AT&T, Alcoa, JPMorgan, and U.S. Airways. He works and has worked for far more companies than that, however.

After the jump, every company BKSH has worked for since 1998, along with the total value of their contracts, as provided by the Center for Responsive Politics lobbying database.

Mr.Black, I have been trying to locate U and Huckabee and the other numerous Mccain election advisors. 911 info as follows:'RealAmerican Patriots' nation wide are forming a 2009 vote boycott for Mccain and any other republican house/senate seat aspirants not on board with major reform of the tax code!!! (ie) irradication of the present 16th amendment/earnings witholding premise. Hundreds of retired U S military retirees are involved in key leadership positions. the statement they are making is that the yr.2006 vote boycott didn't awaken the masses in the republican leadership to the upper shelf importance of this nationally demanded major tax reform move. regrettably, the democrats are also privy to this revolt movement and thus are capitalizing in comensurate. As a retired marine with significant leadership abilities I have been solicited to join this national revolt! the ferocity and magnitude of this 'Real American Patriot' national movement is nation wide and quite freightening. it appears that 'Real America' has had enough!!!!You might make a conserted effort to investigate the existence of this national movement. It is not in substance or breed found in the traditional form or membership in the 'Americans for fair taxation'nor is this merely a 'political identity' issue. It is being touted as the true and pristeen conservative republican movement issue that all have cowared from due all's graft greed from our collected revenue for political vantage and highly suspected personal wealth. all availed due ease by virtue of the earnings witholding premise. the recent indications of all have been the contributions from our collected revenue to the illegal immigration scourge as well the recent revelation of pet projects by our very own republican law makers. AS in 1913 Real America will not accept the adage that unubtructed flow of our tax collected revenue is needed to fund the war effort without our scrutiny. It is with regret that i advise you of all of this, however Mccain and the rest still have time to awaken from their sleep of ignorance per this major tax reform issue lest 2009 results in fruition of the 'LATE GREAT GOP'Before God Almighty' I present all this as truth.
