Former pso, at my job this summer I got paid $7.50 an hour, which translates into roughly 13 cents a minute. Unless you are working in a high level, selective, professional job, being paid "pennies per minute" is standard. That's not saying that there are some differences between working as a landscaper and as a phone sex operator, but your payment argument is weak.
