So..., ...is Rep. Waxman really "The scariest guy in Washington, Time Magazine, and the "Elliot Ness of the Democrats," Nation magazine?

Just as the US Attorney firing scandal was beautifully designed window-dressing (Bush's hand-picked men and woman, no crime was committed (until the perjury)) readily deviating John Q's attention from this and that, doesn't Waxman represent the same kind of chicanery?

Senator's Obama and Bunning introduced the "Coal-to-Liquid Fuel Promotion Act of 2006 (legislation designed to expand coal use), and "There is a great deal of support in Washington for measures that would, in effect, subsidize high-carbon fuels. OH SURE, Waxman has probed the case of Valerie Plame, the inferior medical treatment at Walter reed, DOD and State contracting practices, Cheney, construction and hiring practices at the US Embassy in Baghdad, the Blackwater affair, and now the EPA...

On the one hand, the Time Mag. flattery piece failed to mention that Time Warner was his #1 donor, and, on the other hand, only 3 of the 95 bills he's sponsored in the last decade have been enacted...

Sort of wierd how Bush "went off the deep end" ever since breaking his campaign pledge to limit power company green-house emissions, but these do-gooders are only just now getting off the pot...
